Julie's Ukulele
This is one of my first instruments too. I built it for my girlfriend with
woods from her birthplace. The olive wood comes from a tree that died from
an extreme winter in the 50s and the French Walnut is from an extremely old
reclaimed bed piece (you can actually see the wormholes that I kept on purpose
at the headstock, all part of the life of this wood). This ukulele has a lovely
"chimy" tone with the full olive wood construction and dense wood of the neck.
Back and sides: One piece local Olive wood

Nut and saddle material: White bone
